Final Presentation

I read and commented on the other group 2 presentation.

Below you will find a link to my final presentation, which I created in Prezi.  When you click the link, do NOT hit the play button, but advance screens one at a time using the arrow.  That way you will get the narration.  I used Audacity to create the audio, and it was quite challenging and time-consuming.

What is unique and creative about my project?  It is how many different types of activities I was able to incorporate to address the different adult learning styles.

I will address tips and tricks for the class in my survival memo.

I hope you enjoy.

Heather

  1. Heather,
Your Prezi is very informative and showed every step of the syllabus and training you created. It is impressive that you brought the entire thing to such a complete design. Having it be a project for work must have helped with that.
I can certainly appreciate your concerns working on group projects. They can be challenging. Even the really difficult ones have always given me something to take away from it. I hope your collaboration with co-workers gave you some of the same.
    Nice work.

  2. I really enjoyed your final presentation. I can tell you put a lot of hard work into it. Your incorporation of video and pictures really helped emphasize the meaning of your over all project. I have never used Prezi, but after seeing what you were able to do with it, this is something I would use in future work.

  4. Heather,

I really like that you talked in every slide! That is impressive! I also like the stories, videos, and pictures in your slides. The whole presentation is beautifully made and provides quite rich information.

    Suggestions:

    1. Since your topic is about learning styles. How does your presentation relate to your topic? I did not see that strong connection in your demonstration.

    2. I like that you provided detailed stories and many beautiful pictures. However, there are no bones which can tie them together. Before you present the cases or stories, you need to first tell us the context and purposes of your project. For example, at the beginning of your presentation, you can introduce to your readers that your topic is about learning styles. In this semester, your tasks will be…(introduce your assignments which relate to learning styles). The purposes of these tasks are to…

Then you can introduce each assignment, followed by examples/pictures/videos to show how it looks like.

    3. If possible, do not let your readers wait for your talk. Some readers may not even realize that you will talk and then just move to the next slide if you let them wait for too long time.
